Charles Prevatt was Richard White's first cousin, four times removed.

Charles Prevatt was the first cousin of my great great grandmother Clarissa Prevatt Davis.  He was born in Robeson County, North Carolina, on 20 March 1833, was the son of John Prevatt and Mary Bullock, and was married to Temperance Ivey.  He served in Company B, 50th North Carolina Infantry Regiment.  He survived the war and died in Robeson County on 20 March 1911.
