Died in Mitchell County, Ga. in 1888.

Jones, George W. --- Elected 2nd Lieutenant of Co. K, 1st Regiment, 1st Brigade, Ga. State Troops Oct. 8, 1861; 1st Lieutenant Oct. 10, 1861. Mustered out Apr. 8, 1862. Elected 1st Lieutenant of Co. A, 59th Regt. Ga. Inf. May 3, 1862; Captain Dec. 22, 1862. Wounded and captured at Knoxville, Tenn. Dec. 5, 1863. Paroled at Ft. Delaware, Del. Oct. 30, 1864. Exchanged at Venus Point, Savannah River, Ga., Nov. 15, 1864. Paroled at Bainbridge, Ga. May 20, 1865.

Lee, Elias M. C. --- Appointed 2nd Sergeant of Co. K, 1st Regiment, 1st Brigade, Ga. State Troops Oct. 8, 1861. Mustered out Apr. 8, 1862. Elected 2nd Lieutenant of Co. A, 59th Regt. Ga. Inf. May 3, 1862. Died in Richmond, Va. hospital Nov24, 1862. Buried there in Hollywood Cemetery.

Arline, Franklin A. --- Enlisted as a private in Co. K, 1st Regiment, 1st Brigade, Ga. State Troops Oct 8, 1861. Mustered out Apr. 8, 1862. Elected Jr. 2nd Lieutenant of Co. A, 59th Regt. Ga. Inf. May 3, 1862. Died in Richmond, Va. hospital Dec. 26, 1862.

Coker, James W.  --- Enlisted as a private in Co. K, 1st Regiment, 1st Brigade, Ga. State Troops Oct 8, 1861. Mustered out Apr. 8, 1862. Appointed Sergeant of Co. A., 59th Regt. Ga. Inf. May 3, 1862. Wounded, right arm permanently disabled at Gettysburg, Pr., July 2 1863. Roll for July-Aug. 1863, shows him absent, wounded and in hospital at Camp Winder, Richmond, Va. Retired Aug. 23, 1864. (Born in Ga. Feb. 6, 1840. Died in Grady County, Ga. Dec. 1, 1916.

Faircloth, R. R. --- Enlisted as a private in Co. K, 1st Regiment, 1st Brigade, Ga. State Troops Oct 8, 1861. Mustered out Apr. 8, 1862. Appointed Sergeant of Co. A, 59th Regt. Ga. Inf. May 3, 1862. Died Apr. 15, 1864.

Holton, Marquis de LaFayette --- Enlisted as a private in Co. K, 1st Regiment, 1st Brigade, Ga. State Troops Oct 8, 1861. Mustered out Apr. 8, 1862. Appointed Sergeant of A Co., 59th Regt. Ga. Inf. May 3, 1862; Sergeant Major Oct. 15, 1863. Wounded at Spotsylvania, Va. May 19, 1864. Died from wounds in Richmond, Va. hospital May 23, 1864.

Rich, Elijah A. J. --- Appointed Sergeant of Co. K, 1st Regiment, 1st Brigade, Ga. State Troops Oct 8, 1861.  Mustered out Apr. 8, 1862.  Appointed Sergeant of Co. A, 59th Regt. Ga. Inf. May 3, 1862. Elected 2nd Lieutenant Dec. 29, 1862.  Pension records show he was wounded and was in North Carolina attempting to reach command when war closed.  Died in Decatur County, Ga. July 4, 1925.

Strickland, Hardy --- Enlisted as a private in Co. K, 1st Regiment, 1st Brigade, Ga. State Troops Oct 8, 1861. Mustered out Apr. 8, 1862.Appointed Sergeant of Co. A, 59th Regt. Ga. Inf. May 3, 1862. Elected Jr. 2nd Lieutenant Dec. 29, 1862. Roll for Feb 1865, last on file, shows him present. Pension records show he was furloughed for 30 days Mch. 1865. Died in Miller County, Ga. Apr 21, 1917.

Wilder, John D. --- Enlisted as a private in Co. K, 1st Regiment, 1st Brigade, Ga. State Troops Oct 8, 1861. Mustered out Apr. 8, 1862. Appointed Sergeant of Co. A, 59th Regt. Ga. Inf. May 3, 1862. Captured at Gettysburg, Pa. July 4, 1863. Paroled at Fort Delaware, Del. Feb. 1865. Exchanged at Boulware & Cox's Wharves, James River, Va. Mch. 10, 1865. Paroled at Thomasville, Ga. May 19, 1865.

Burd, W. A. --- Corporal. Captured at Deep Bottom, Va. Aug. 14, 1864. Forwarded to Point Lookout, Md. Arrived at Fortress Monroe, Va. Aug. 17, 1864. Remarks on record: "Prisoner of war who arrived at this station under an assumed name, or who assumed one for the purpose of being transferred, exchanged or released."

Coker, John E. --- Enlisted as a private in Co. K, 1st Regiment, 1st Brigade, Ga. State Troops Oct 8, 1861. Mustered out Apr. 8, 1862. Appointed Corporal of Co. A, 59th Regt. Ga. Inf. May 3, 1862. Killed at Gettysburg, Pa. July 2, 1863.

Admitted to Floyd House & Ocmulgee Hospitals at Macon, Ga., complaint "Cripple," Nov. 1863. Captured at Cold Harbor, Va. June 1, 1864. Released at Elmira, N.Y. June 16, 1865.

Bell, William B. --- Private July 10, 1862. Captured at Deep Bottom, Va. Aug 14, 1864. Released at Point Lookout, Md. June 5, 1865. (Born in Decatur County, Ga. in 1832. Died there Dec. 10, 1893.

Blount, J. Cornelius --- Private May 3, 1862. Discharged at Macon, Ga. hospital Aug. 1, 1863 (Born Sept. 28, 1843. Died in Decatur Co., Ga. Feb 22, 1872.)

Boutwell, J. D. --- Enlisted as a private in Co. B, 8th Regt. Florida Inf. May 10, 1862. Not borne on subsequent rolls. Enlisted as a private in Co. A, 59th Regt. Ga. Inf. July 10, 1862. Wounded and captured at Gettysburg, Pa. July 2, 1863. Paroled at Point Lookout Md. Apr. 27, 1864. Exchanged at City Point, Va. Apr. 30, 1864. Appears on a roll of prisoners of war surrendered in Florida by Major General Sam Jones and paroled at Bainbridge, Ga. May 20, 1865. (Born in 1838. Died in Decatur County, Ga. in 1901.)

Boyett, W. T. --- Enlisted as a private in Co. D, 17th Regt. Ga. Inf. Mch. 4, 1862. Admitted to Chimborazo Hospital # 4 at Richmond, Va. May 12, 1862. Returned to duty June 20, 1862. Transferred to Co. A, 59th Regt. Ga. Inf., in exchange for H. K. Jones, May 23, 1863.
