Jasper N. Davis was a son of L.C. Davis.  He served as a private in Company E of the 50th Georgia Infantry Regiment, the "Thomas County Rangers".  He was enrolled on 22 August 1862 and died of pneumonia  in General Hospital No. 14, Richmond Virginia, on 24 December 1862.
