John Shepard ("Shep") Haven, was born in Columbia County, Florida, on 10 July 1846.  He was a son of my 2-great grandfather John Shepard Haven's brother William George Haven.  "Shep" was born in Columbia County, Florida; served within the state during the Civil War in Company B, First Florida Reserves; and later lived in Hillsborough County, Florida.  He is buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Tampa, Florida.
